Our Story
The inspiration for Rhapsos AI began with military logistics. Our technology was born from a need to get several highly complex mathematical models of military decision making and logistics to work together with a shoestring budget and dynamically deploy those integrated models to users for general use. Elan and Travis, Rhapsos Co-Founders, led a team of researchers at an FFRDC managed by MITRE to prototype and mature a solution. Realizing its commercial potential to solve a myriad of problems across many domains, Elan and Travis worked with MITRE leadership to transition the technology into a business startup.
At Rhapsos, our products solve the problem of dynamic software and data integration. It massively reduces the time and cost required to integrate different computer models together and deploy across systems. We provide off-the-shelf software tools that leverage AI and cutting edge software techniques to break extremely complex code into manageable chunks. These chunks can then be autonomously swapped using proprietary technology so that different computer code from many different people can easily integrate together.
If you are either:
An engineer building software
An individual seeking to exploit AI without hassle
An organizational leader trying to secure, govern, and manage AI agents
Rhapsos AI can provide off-the-shelf products that will save you hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and allow you to re-prioritize hundreds of work hours to exploit new business opportunities. Schedule a discussion with us today to see how we can make your life easier!
Founders
Travis Goodwin, CEO and Co-Founder
Travis served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2013-2017. He commissioned into the Marine Corps after receiving a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Maine at Orono. After the Marines, Travis went on to receive both a Masters and PhD in Systems Engineering and Operations Research from George Mason University as a SMART Scholar. While conducting his PhD, Travis worked as a civilian employee at the Pentagon for 2 years in Air Force Futures (A5/7, formerly AFWIC), after which he worked at MITRE as an Operations Research Analyst for 3 years.
Elan Fisher, CTO and Co-Founder
Elan received his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2024 where he conducted anti-censorship research and taught Programming Languages. During his undergraduate studies, Elan interned at The MITRE Corporation starting in 2021, where he performed work across the entire stack, including low-level and networking code, systems administration, and cyber experimentation within red, blue, and purple teaming environments. After completing undergraduate studies, Elan transitioned to work full time at MITRE and conduct graduate studies at UMD. His graduate research focused on Applied Programming Languages and Computational Biology to develop a Domain-Specific Language (DSL) for genomics. At MITRE, Elan worked on projects where he built agentic cybersecurity software, optimization models, and the DRIVE development environment. DRIVE is an advanced orchestration framework designed to integrate complex computational models, which would serve as the foundational idea for Rhapsos technology.
